Hunter

Great game! I just cant figure out how to tigger hunters 3rd event

Phenomenal

I remember playing Harvest Moon on my gameboy back when I was a kid and this game really brings back all of those memories. While it is a touch disappointing to see some of my favorite festivals and events no longer as part of the game, I think that this version really captures that original Harvest Moon spirit. And (bonus): no in game purchases. Hallelujah.

bug

My game couldnt load to next day, Ive tried to overworking or reboot game again. Its. Not working, still couldnt load to spring 23th, please fix it!

I love the game series. One suggestion.

Im so happy you guys made an app version of Harvest Moon. I grew up with it and have been playing since the very first version. Anyway, the only suggestion that comes to mind would to maybe have pictures of the characters next to their dialogue, like you did in the more recent none platform versions. In my opinion it makes the characters more personable. Other than that its great!

Love HV

Love this game...but I cant put food in bobcats bowl..bugged...please fix!

A solid game

I am a huge fan of the whole Harvest Moon series and have been since the original game. This game has a lot of charm that the original had, with a storyline that is simple and enjoyable for new farmers to the series. I have waited a long time to play HM on my fun so even that aspect is great. My only complaints are with the multiple stereotypical "accents" I am not a fan of reading "accents" especially when they look like a bad translation and do not make sense. Youll know them when you see them. A suggestion: take out the offensive "accents" on characters that dont need them.

Huge dissapointment

Alright so Ive restarted the game for the fifth time now and I still cant get past the tutorial because it freezes when you get to the seed planting portion so fix the bug or the rating stays at one star

Amazing!

I love this game so much, I play it all the time! The graphics are impeccable and it never glitches or anything. However, you dont get a cat or dog in the beginning like the original game- I was kind of disappointed about that. It also would be an amazing experience if you could add a multiplayer option and add an option to customize your avatar in the game. Overall it is deffinately worth the 10 bucks. Even though there were a few disappointments, its still one of my favorite games to play.

Good game, but stagnant

This game is good for HM players who have never played the series before. For those who have played HM since the beginning, you will very quickly recognize the easiest ways to make money, gain materials, and pursue relationships. Perhaps make a HM game more challenging for its advanced players?

Just like the good ol days

$9.99... was the first thing I noticed and it made me hesitant to purchase this game. Although, for an iOS app, $9.99 can be a bit pricey, but I assure you, it is worth it. The format is exactly like the originals. Hit the mine asap to make some money!

Very good

The game is fun but has a long intro

Standard

Its Harvest Moon. If youve played any games in the series, then you know what to expect. If you havent, then expect to be doing the same tasks every day in the game in an effort to reach goals. I have only encounter one glitch so far and that is that I cant fill my pet bobcats food dish. Other then that it operates well enough on my iPhone 6s.

Awesome but...

I was loving this app and had no problems at all until I went to sleep on the night of Summer 21st, and now it just keeps showing the loading screen forever, please fix this bug so I can continue playing!!

Dont waste $

Go on steam and buy stardew valley way more bang for your buck!!! And like a original harvest moon not like this

OK

Its ok, but since I started playing Stardew Valley on PC, I have no desire to play this any longer. Stardew Valley improves on the Harvest Moon formula in every possible way making this game seem like an unplayable relic. Cut the price to $3-$5 and I would give it 3 stars.

Love it but its lacking

I love harvest moon. I dont have too many of the games but the ones I do have Ive played avidly for years. This game is certainly different from the others. The graphics are unique, at first I didnt care for them but theyve really grown on me. I like the simple game play but I WISH THERE WAS MORE OF A CHALLENGE! The game is way too easy. If more recipes could be added and festivals or maybe something else that would make the game so much more engaging. Its also hard for anyone who has never played the series as there are no instructions. Please keep updating the game! :)

Enjoyed Until Glitched

Enjoyed it, worked hard, went to 100th level in mine, enlarged to biggest house, have over a million dollars, getting married, the game glitched at 2nd year, wont go to Spring Day 2. Please fix, going to ask for refund.

What the hell is that sound??

Overall, I love this game. It can easily eat up hours of your time, there is always so much to do. Its probably just as good as the other HM games for consoles. HOWEVER. I have ran into a couple "glitches". The first one, has been happening every day. I wake up with less fishing bait than I went to sleep with. One night I went to bed with 20, woke up with 15. Another night I had 13, woke up with 8. No sign as to where it went, it is frustrating, as the bait costs money. Another problem Im having has only recently started. If I want to sell quantities of something, it will only sell for the price of one. For example, I have 4 items that I can sell for 50 gold a piece. So if I sell all four at once I should get 200 gold right? Nope. I only get 50. So I cant sell in bulk, I have to sell one by one, which is frustrating and time consuming (especially if you just harvested a bunch of crops, you have to individually sell each item, sometimes I have to do that with 30 items...) And a couple times Ive even sold DOZENS of items for the price of one without realizing it until it was too late. Yeah, you can load from your last save, but sometimes I havent saved in a while and its not worth wasting my time. Its a huge pain in the butt. There is a bobcat in the game that you can tame and make your pet. I read on the wiki that if you pick it up on three different occasions (days), then its now your pet. I did this, and the cat just disappeared. Hes not in my house, anywhere on my farm, or at the spot where he used to hang out. Im disappointed because I really wanted a pet cat and I think that was my only chance. One last con. Its not a huge deal but its annoying. When its summertime, you get this awful background noise during the day when its sunny. I believe its supposed to be cicadas? It sounds like a broken piece of machinery constantly grinding ALL DAY. During the summer I end up just having my volume off because of it. I can deal with any other sound in the game, but the summer daytime sounds make me want to poke my ear drums out with something sharp. Other than those couple issues Ive had, I am very pleased with the game, and believe overall it is worth the money. I will rate 5 stars once those glitches are fixed.

Cheap, not even worth $10

Im a huge HM fan from day one and am pretty well let down by this one. Graphics are cheaply done and look horrible. Story is less than appealing, unlocking memories? Really? Come on now. Controls are ridiculous, everytime I want to water I dig, drag to water multiple crops I start walking. Its just a huge step back from any other installment of HM. It must have been a rushed product.

Definitely Harvest Moon, Lack of Content

I find it difficult to rate this game so low, at 2 stars. But most people who will play this (and pay the $9.99) are original Harvest Moon fans. The amount of content in this game is severely lacking and making you wish for more. I kept thinking of more and more things the game was missing. It is DEFINITELY Harvest Moon. They did an amazing job keeping it the game we all love, and the mechanics did well shrunk to an iOS device. But it leaves you wanting a lot more. As an avid Harvest Moon fan, I pretty much unlocked and bought every single thing I could, and got married before Fall of Year 1. So I stopped playing because I had over 3,000,000g and nothing else to accomplish.
