Very bad Controls

I dont recommend buying this Game a really bad Port!

Need improvements

No German support. Bad controles, NO AUTOSAVE!!!!!! I lost many progress in reason of that. Terrible pathfinding. 10 Euro it is not worth.

Nice Game

I Loved Harvest Moon on ps1 this is a Great Game ... When the Game be avaible in German you ger the 5. Star :)

Not worth such amount of money

The release for iOS of Harvest Moon is too expensive for the gameplay given. The existing map is quite small, no wide exploration possible. The mining is kept very simple. Why there is the need of resources if you can build anything with money? Just to sell them again. Fishing feels strange as well. Hopefully the release for WiiU will be more promising. 99 Cent would be a more realistic price for the iOS release than 10 Euros.

Love HM!

Ive been a huge fan of Harvest Moon ever since Back To Nature on PS1! I love how this version is just like their older games. A little more simplified and less challenging, but still has a lot of character!

SO HAPPY

FINALLY! I can play my beloved Harvest Moon on my iPhone! So far Im Loving the graphics, characters, storyline and everything else :)

Incredible

I was very hesitant paying this much for a game but had to realize its a one-time fee, no in-app purchases. I am so pleased with this game! Its like having a portable good quality Animal Crossing type game. I keep reading negative reviews that this game is too expensive for the terrible graphics, people have to realize the creator wanted to give it a retro feel. IMHO I love the graphics!!

Awesome!

Its everything you can expect from a harvest moon game. No more, no less. A good way to kill time! 4/5

Great fame; worth the $$

Been a fan since Harvest Moon 64, and this game brings me back to my childhood; it runs well on my iPhone 5 (surprisingly), the graphics are great and the touch feature for tools is quite nice and innovative for a farm based RPG. Really appreciate the Natsume president for opting to go back to their roots.

Simple

Last HM game I played was Harvest Moon DS and boyyyy that game was so complicated, there were too many things going on. I love Seeds of Memories because the game is pretty simple so far. Its almost like Friends of Mineral Town but with more cutesy graphics. I am not partial to the graphics and design of this game, its less detailed (just compare the trees and landscapes! Nothing like FoMT or HM DS) and too cutesy. Other than that, I have no other complaints so far. Hope they update with more locations.

Love hm

I just love hm it is just great it is on ios now

So great!

When I was growing up HM64 was the source of a million fights between my sister and brother and I. The game seemed perfect, and is the base for my own HM nostalgia. While we may never get the HM64 on iOS, I will confidently say this game is every bit as good. In many ways it emulates the ps1, gbc, or n64 lay out...and the quality of the characters is there too. I can almost see Harris the mail man (or police man, depending on which version you play) in the cow salesmans personality. Theres A maria-esque flower salesman (bride option) and her mother is so bubbly that I suspect that she may be a decendant of popuri!

I love this game but theres a major glitch!!

Great game but I cant seem to get the axe! I met tony a dozen times and he was supposed to give me the axe in the beginning of the game. Im now into the second season with no axe :(

Still needs work :(

Very buggy, randomly freezes during basic gameplay. I would have to close the app and start back up from my previous save and redo everything.

Simplified version of HM

I must admit that I had high expectation when I purchased this game. The story is same old, and the graphics are simple and poor. The old HM on NDS had way more details then this version. I miss the mining of the old version on NDS where you can fall unknown levels thru the hole and faint (this HM only has 100 levels). There were many things to buy at shops and many items were seasonal. The characters in the old HM were very lively, and I saw details here and there. I had a lot of fond memories playing the old HM on NDS. It was full of surprises. This version, however, only has the backbone of the old HM game. It is missing all the nice and fun details. I think this HM is targeting young children. If it was not made by the same company, I would have thought that it was a poor copycat game.

Disappointed

I was excited to buy this game spent $15 and it will not even load on my iPod very disappointed

Love it <3

I never bother to write reviews, but Natsume really deserves it this time. Most of the new harvest moon (and story of seasons) have been so unlike the originals that they frustrate me. This is a gem. It is simple, yes, and it does have a few flaws, but overall I would highly recommend it if you are a fan of the original harvest moon games. If you like the new ones more this may not be the game for you! Im already at over ten hours of playtime though, and Ive only owned it for a couple days. This is definitely worth the price tag. Give it a try!

No idea

This is the first harvest moon game i played the thing that annoys me is they dont really tell u what u have to do besides plant seeds an talk to the neighbours did all that everything is super slow to grow theres really no direction or plot u just start off with a short intro an ur on ur own basically figure out what ur supposed to do would be better if they gave more information for beginners on what to do they give u a book on tips but it still all randomly all over the place this game should be more like 5 dollars it lacks alot of content not to mention poor graphics considering other farming games are in 2d and 3d at least

If youre a Harvest Moon Fan Already, Dont Even Think Twice

I am a BIG Harvest Moon fan, and this surpassed my expectations of a Harvest Moon Phone app version. I heard a bit of criticism before it released about the graphics and things like that, but dont listen to it. If you love harvest moon, played all the DS games, some of the Wii games and the N64 version like I have, you need to get this one too. I also like that theyve made it an incentive to be friends with people by having them give memories. In some of the other games my goal has always been to just get married and build my farm, but in this one there are tons of hidden advantages with getting to know the other characters - and its easier too. Overall, Im just super impressed with how Natsume was able to take the big game of Harvest Moon and make it a phone app that is perfectly fit for mobile gamers, but also attracts Harvest Moon lovers. Even the time spans are just perfectly laid out - days arent too long, friendships dont take that long to make, rewards are random but spaced out perfectly -- its just a really solid game all around. I think the only two things I would criticize are the map and crops - the map is small at the start and I was thinking I might not like the game because of that, but the annoyance didnt last long. Second - it would be nice if there was some crop variation - it gets a little boring just planting potatoes or carrots or something and not being able to look forward to new crops at the beginning of a new season. But tiny things in retrospect. This game my expectations for sure. It has only been out for a month and Im already married with 5 chickens, the unlocked fields, 2 pets and 3 livestock... And been to the bottom of the mine. So yea, Im hooked! Great job Natsume :)

NEEDS MORE WORK

Time goes waaaaay too fast! Theres a lack of places to explore so at least give us more time in the day to entertain ourselves.. After picking up everything in the mountains, sometimes you dont see more items for several days at a time. Apples look like herbs ?? And can we please get the characters faces back in the message window!! You can hardly see them enough as it is; it would be nice to see their emotions.. Seriously guys Ive played every Harvest Moon game you have created out there, and I KNOW you are capable of fixing these things. Like making us pay $15 for a game that feels like a $.99 game ?? Ugh so frustrating
