HARVEST MOON: Seeds Of Memories App Reviews

Ive wanted a premium harvest moon game on mobile since I bought an iPad. I bought this day 1 to support it even with the mixed reviews. It needs work. First, this is the full harvest moon experience. The characters are fun, the writing is good enough to push you forward and all the standard hm mechanics are in place. I think they did a great job with the touch mechanics. However, its a little barren. Lots of scenery is reused, the animation is cheap and the frame rate is low. They just dump most of your tools on you right away (e.g. You can raise chickens by day 4). Biggest current issue is I found at least one game killing bug. When I fish the game locks up but the timer continue, so Im stuck unless I restart the day or pass out. Im not willing to play it in is condition, after an update Ill try again and change my review

This game is great but definitely needs more work! I am a huge fan of Harvest Moon and have played almost all of the games. Im super excited to have this on my phone now

Being a huge fan of Harvest Moon for like 14 years had me overly excited about this game but this was nothing like what I was hoping for/expecting. I really feel like theres not much to do in a day. The people in town are boring to talk to and there arent many of them. Very few shops to go in, weird addition of two fortune tellers that tell you the same things repeatedly. I play for 1 day (in-game time) and Im bored and finding myself closing the app after 10 mins. I could play older HM games for hours. Wish I could get a refund.

Please please patch in iphone4. Pretty pretty please?

I love the game, but its not letting me go to the next day, sleeping/passing out doesnt help, it wont let me progress to the next day. Please help.

Usually Im a person who will read reviews that are bad and buy it anyways. But this game is just a waste of time. (And money!) Save your money and buy something else. This isnt even a game.

I love participating in festivals but theres only quiet a few festivals compare to original

My first Harvest Moon experience. Im excited to see what they add to the game. I have no issues with functionality playing in my iPad Air. I would give it five stars but it needs more stuff to do and more variety. Otherwise it is still fun.

This game isnt worth the money at all. If your a Harvest Moon fan, look elsewhere. ( I recommend Stardew Valley for PC ) Their is no punch to the game. Story is very bland , nothing that could catch my interest. For those who havent played a [Bokujou Monogatari - also known as now Story of Seasons not Harvest Moon] this game will 100% disappoint you.

Very addictive Game and worth the bit of money I spent. I do wish their were more places to visit on the map. And more ingredients to make. It would then be 5star

Love this game!! It is super fun. But Im having an issue with playing. I go to sleep at night and it wont load the next day! Argh! Please fix.

Playing this is like to re-live my childhood. I am so happy that finally the game is released in IOS. But I hope there will be some improvements very soon, on features, maps, and stuff. And I would really love to have the harvest spirits that can help me on farming and stuff. Over all, the game is good, but it can be much better!!!

Theres a bug that prevents you from marrying certain characters. Fix it. I wont ply the game until its fixed.

Im another one that has been playing harvest moon for many years and I must say the game play is average or what you would expect from an iPhone game but it could be better! Is there a way to continue the same game from my iPhone on my iPad?, if there is not there needs to be an option to be able to start a game on either ipad or iPhone and continue on the other, or else whats the point? No one wants to start a separate game on each device!

As a huge fan of the older Harvest Moon games, especially Friends of Mineral Town, I had huge hopes for this game. Unfortunately, this one does not live up to the previous titles. The biggest issue is the lack of cloud saves. What the heck? I just got an iPad Pro after months of wanting one, and weeks of work in my SoM game, and I cannot transfer my save to the new iPad. How does any professionally created game NOT have cloud saves? So now I have to keep using it on my old iPad, which was supposed to go to my husband, because I cant load it on the new one. Would be even more disastrous if my original iPad died, because Id completely lose all my progress! Also, the story for this one is just... Confusing. Supposedly everyone in town has completely forgotten the farm even existed even though it is right outside town, and you randomly come across is and get asked by one of the farms harvest sprites to help restore it and get everyone to remember it to save the Sprite tree. Huh? Nope. Stupid story. Just stupid. The graphics are pretty terrible. My kids do better graphics on a regular basis. And they just play around with stuff. Yes, Im being totally serious. My 12-year-old has sold some of her graphics, so theyre pretty good. But the graphics in this game are just pitiful. FoMT graphics were way better and the game came out YEARS ago! There are a number of gameplay issues I wont get into, like the lack of any way to sell animals, but there are just too many to name. Its a fairly fun game overall, but the issues really make it hard to enjoy the good parts.

Its really fun to play.but it needs a lot of improvements like trees of transquality

Great game but every time I fish the screen locks up, also when I smash rocks it will randomly lock up and time keeps running so I have to wait until I faint to play the next day because I cant move. Once the bugs are ironed out this game will be amazing!

I LOVE not having the enforcement of neighbors/connecting with fb, turning my iPad off but letting it run so I can get back to it when I have to take care of stuff and the pace is nice and easy :) I agree itd be great if there was a lite version, not sure why those went away, or to be able to play for a bit THEN buy so people know if its something theyd like, but hey, its not my game lol

I just want to say I love the harvest moon games I have since I was very young but I cant even play this one because it keeps freezing on the tutorial part where Im staring to plant the seeds. So plz fix this Id really love to give this game a chance.

To the developers/designers and anyone who has anything to do with this BEAUTIFUL GAME being put on the App Store - A MILLION THANK YOUS. I have been playing Harvest Moon since the SNES days and I cannot put into words the joy that these games bring me. They truly are something I look forward to playing every day on my down time. This version in particular brings back a nostalgic feel from the SNES version/ Back to Nature era. SO AMAZING! Im so very in love with this game. Please keep updates coming for this version or even make new versions of Harvest Moon for the App Store. I would literally pay so much more than $10 for a gem like this. This is truly a masterpiece! The work Natsume does is TRULY INCOMPARABLE!! Again, thank you so much you dear geniuses and please keep it coming! Harvest Moon is the best game EVER!!!!! You guys rock!
